SaraValeria is an artistic duo composed by me and Valeria Palermo.
We have been diving into stereo photographs since a while and we created STEREOBOX the second stage of RE-MEDIA an artistic project that inquiries the boundaries of visual perception and culture.
STEREOBOX was presented on the 5th June in Venice

Sara Tirelli is a freelance videomaker based in Venice.
After graduating in cultural studies at University of Bologna, she worked in The Netherlands and Germany as director and video reporter for art and new media productions. Back in Italy, she has been working freelance for television and advertising. Her creative research focuses on visual perception and her own productions range from documentaries to exhibition design, to music videos.

Dopo la laurea in lettere all’università di Bologna Sara Tirelli lavora in Olanda e Germania come videomaker e video reporter per produzioni artistiche e festival new media. Attualmente lavora in Italia come regista e montatrice freelance per produzioni televisive nazionali.Vive a Venezia.

How I had to face reality: videoediting as political act

Once definetely back to Italy, I had to find a job as soon as possible.Despite of what they said I’ve immediately found one as editor for television production.This is how I payied my rent for about 5 months during which I elaborated the cultural trauma of being Italian.

The programme is based on italian ’70 erotic comedy and it’s inspired by the american candid camera format “TOTALLY BUSTED”. Sexy actresses seduce unaware victims… but, as soon as the atmosphere start to become hot,a jealous husband, a violent neighbour or a police man will interrupt it.
